Morning (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM)
Art Basel Miami Beach - Miami Beach Convention Center
Start early to avoid crowds. Focus on Galleries and Nova sections for contemporary work.
Midday (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM)
Design Miami - Meridian Avenue (walking distance from convention center)
Explore collectible design fair. Short walk from Art Basel venue.
Afternoon (3:30 PM - 5:30 PM)
ICA Miami - Design District (15-minute drive)
Contemporary art museum with current exhibitions. Free admission allows flexible timing.
Late Afternoon (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
Nina Johnson Gallery or Mindy Solomon Gallery - Design District
Quick gallery visit in the same neighborhood as ICA Miami.
Evening (8:00 PM)
Mandolin Aegean Bistro - Design District
Dinner in the same area to minimize travel time. Mediterranean cuisine in a garden setting.
Traffic Notes:
Stay within Miami Beach for morning activities
Move to Design District for afternoon/evening to avoid bridge traffic
Avoid crossing causeway during peak hours (4-7 PM)
Consider ride-sharing or walking between nearby venues
Book dinner reservations well in advance during Art Week
Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 5-7 annually. Many galleries extend hours during Art Week. Traffic is heaviest between Miami Beach and mainland during peak fair hours.
